Sustainable Development

Electric skateboarding is a motorised hobby, which unlike most motor sports does not contribute to global warming as it does not emit CO2.¨Morover, electric propulsion makes the skate near-silent, causing no noise pollution to places where you use it.

However, it needs energy, that used by Evo-Skate is electricity, and a Cross800 consumes about 15 times less than a 2kw heater, a negligable CO2 emission compared to non-electric motor sports, such as quad or motor cross.

In addition, electric skates are designed to be environmentally friendly, and made with easily recyclable materials, Evo-Skate contributes to recycling by adhering to certified organizations.

    - Top in maple wood “common” unprotected tree and easily recyclable.
    - Aluminum Trucks, easily recyclable ..
    - Batteries, Lead Gel or Lithium (LiFePO4) are recyclable, as long as the user disposes of them at a collection point at the end of their lives.
    – Evo-Skate contributes to the recycling of batteries, being a member and contributing to the Screlec (www.screlec.fr), an certified organization in charge of collecting and processing cells and batteries.
    - Electronic components (remote controller, receiver, motor) do not use hazardous materials such as lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium, PBB and PBDE (in accordance with the RoHS directive).
    - Electronic components are also recyclable, and Evo-Skate is a member of and contributes to ECOLOGIC (www.ecologic-france.com), a certified organisation in charge of collecting and processing waste electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

By using an electric Evo-skate Skate, you practice a motor sport that offers thrill with almost zero impact on the environment.
